Thanks everyone. I am trying to stay in the same town for my daughter. All her friends are here and it would be very hard for her to go to a new town. We are going to look at other houses while negotiating for this one. Especially since it's still being shown.

You should definitely continue to look!
And the house will be shown at least until it's in full contract, i.e. both parties have signed it and thereby committed to the deal. Although some sellers want to continue to show, as it's not uncommon for deals to fall through even after the contract is signed...

I don't know what town you're in, but there are many financially distressed properties on the market in Suffolk and since you're working with a Buyer Broker, s/he should look into some opportunities for you! After all, s/he is working for you, NOT the seller!
