anyone remember Aardvark in Levittown, just east of where May's was. Also a bar on Merrick Road in Bellmore The Kobblers Knob or Sargent Peppers Pub?
How about the Glass Onion "head Shop" in Levittown?
OMG The Cobblers Knob in Wantagh. I had my first Long Island Ice tea there....sigh
You're so right Rizz!! It was Chris Richards...my mom knew his mom...LOL! I wasn't on Alex's side...I sat right on the front of the stage and just watched Chuck Billy as he towered over me.....he is normally a big dude but he looked a hundred feet tall from my view. I also had my head smashed when Green Jello performed Three Little Pigs....they had these chicks holding pig puppets and we all clocked heads...knocked me for a loop. I also remember seeing Testament at the Roxy a couple of years later but Alex wasn't there.
I'm from Long Island and moved here to North Carolina back in '97. I miss all the food and the fun that was always just around the corner!!! we just got our first Carvel store about 6 months ago!! wish we could get a friendlys!!!

I met Billy Joel when he was still with the Hassels in the late 60s and playing at the Night Owl in the Village where I used to waitress part time.
