Hey, in the immediate locality of the train station, I'm sure, the Crime and the hang-out Element, is very visable, and you don't need a "scorecard" to figure it out.

It must be nice, doing "sprints" to your car, or ride home !

Dopers, drunks and the men rattling nasty things in Spanish while grabbing their crotches scare me as a female. (In Spanish or English, that's jjust not cool!)

Local legend....Johnny Finger

I had to go back and pull this one up. I got flipped off by this guy at a bank ATM in Port..I turned around and made eye contact with him for a nano-second..I turn back to the ATM, next thing I know, he's behind me giving me the finger. If I didn't know this was his MO and he's harmless, there could have been a problem....

The reason I bring it up is that theres a pretty big misconception that PJRR is in PJSta.

I'm referring specifically to the buildings on Wilson, just used the LIRR as the 'Mason Dixon Line' of sorts. Not disagreeing on the zip of the LIRR tracks.

Are you talking about the 'Jesus' guy with the long hair who walks all over the place?

If so, he's flipped me off on 25A in Setauket!

No, Jesus guy is different. There used to be a guy who carried a cross around the Smith Haven Mall, too.

Johnny Finger is a mildly retarded guy who used to walk around the PJ/PJS area flipping off teenagers who yelled at him from their cars, to the point of being more well known than the Pope. He's the one in Crooks picture...giving you the finger. (it's Johnny FINGER, not FINGERS, Crookhaven. )

Johnny wasn't homeless.

I don't know about the guy carrying the cross.

I guess it isn't as endearing as saying that people crossing the border should be shot, right?

It sounds like one is "surrendering" to the BAD situation, when one identifies too closely with the problem, and makes light of it.

I think it's like the Stockholm Syndrome...identifying to your Captors !
