Hey all - I recently moved to Long Island from the Midwest where one of the yearly rituals was to have a service come out and winterize the in-ground sprinkler system to avoid damage from water left in the system freezing up due to the brutally cold winters.
Is this something that is done here on Long Island? If so, how much should I expect to spend for a 3-zone system?
Seems reasonable enough - thanks for the input guys. Incidentally, if anyone is willing to recommend a company/individual that they've been happy with, feel free to send them my way. I'm in East Northport if location is a concern.
Hubby used to do sprinklers.......he said 3 zones should be around $50.....(thats usually for up to a 5 zone system).........they'll just come out and blow out the lines with the compressor......
