The gang activity is the shocker, I wasn't aware of gangsta activities in N. Bellmore...Seems like it's just about everywhere else, maybe I shouldn't be surprised.
Can you truly be "Gangsta" and live on Long Island though? I think 95% are pure wannabes. How much hard livin and thuggin is out there?

In some places you can.

Also, when it comes to wannabes, some of them can get just as vicious as OGs.

And any "gang activity" in Bellmore is all wannabes, and I find it hilarious. And gang activity is easy to avoid on LI, I don't know what you ppl are talking about.

I get a laugh when I'm out on the North Fork, like Southold for example, and I see the thugged out kid strolling the street.
Crooked hat, baggy pants, over sized sneakers, hoody. Totally decked out. Ha ha.
*cough*LOSER*cough*

Yeah yo, I grown up on da mean streets of Mattituck...

I saw them in Greenport. My mom says there is low income housing over there.

Next time you are in Mattituck, stop into the Broken Valise across from the train station.

Thugs..not quite...just the epitome of Suffolk County Trash.

What your describing is more of the hip hop look rather than thug look. Go to the mall...all you see is baggy pants and crooked caps. Its the hip hop image. Not that Im a fan of it though. I prefer my pants to be around my waist and above the buttocks.
