you guys are, well, right & wrong. i live in bellport. the village is pristine & the town of bellport is lovely as well. it is NORTH bellport that is not such a great area. the schools--as some have mentioned--are a mixed bag. there's lots of school spirit but, unfortunately (as in so many public schools across the nation) metal detectors have recently had to be installed in the high school. but this is a preventative measure, not a reactionary one. one particular high note are the libraries, which are fantastic!

Default bellport

Hi, i live in Patchogue, my children attend Pat/Med schools. My school district is really great, My neighboring district whic is South Country which is where the people that live in Bellport attend.I here mixed reviews of the district., there are alot of problems in North bellport. Longwood and Pat/Med are better. My niece and nephew both attende South Country schools and my brother took them out and sent them to Catholic School.
