Question about taxi/train from LaGuardia (Islip, Amityville: how much, live, cost) - Long Island - New York (NY) - City-Data Forum

I will be arriving at La Guardia airport on thursday morning. I can't have anyone meet me at the aiport. They live want me to meet them at the Amityville station.

I don't want to take the bus because I have heavy lugagge.

Should I take the taxi to Jamaica station, and than a train to Amityville ? How much would it cost if I just took the taxi all the way to the Amityville station?

Winston - Airport Shuttle to JFK, LGA and Islip Airports

This company charges approx $60 from LGA to Amityville, shared van.

Thank you! So, how do I know where to find them? I guess.. walk outside and they have a sign with my name on it, right?
