We recently bought a home that has a 50 year old cesspool in the backyard. We want to replace it this spring. Some friends have told me to to have them put the new one in front of the house because it is easier to get to. Is there any other advantages to having a cesspool in the front yard as opposed to the backyard? The price to put it in the front yard adds about 30% to the cost. Is it worth it?
We don't have perfect grading but it is generally level. No hills/slopes or retaining walls.
