I belong to Xtreme Gym in Bellmore which I loved because it was 24 hours and a decent price for the access ($38/mo) and since I am a night owl I loved going at like 1-2am. Anyway they changed their hours and I'm PO'd! They are Mon-Thurs 4:30am-Midnight and even shorter hours on the weekends. No more 24 hours at all! Which means I need to either find a new gym or just move on without one.

Anyone have a comparible quality/cost gym they can suggest? I am in Merrick and don't mind driving 10 minutes but don't want to go further than that! If there is a contract I don't want more than a year....

I can't believe they just changed the hours and didn't even lower the price or do something for the customer.....oh well.....days are numbered I think.....

This kind of thing, along with furlough days OFF, will be the "coming thing", for all of us.

A 24-hour gym is pretty rare on LI.

NYSC just lowered the hours open on the weekend at the club I like to go to and didn't lower the price either.

The latest the gyms are open is 12am now. They all stopped the 24/7 schedule like a year ago.

I like NY Sports Club, but mainly because they have locations near my house on Long Island and near my office in mid-town.
