Does anyone know how much a final CO would cost for a $350K house? Been looking at houses for over a year now and have seen several new construction homes that just need a little work to complete, but none have final CO's. I know with pool CO's most of the cost is in getting the permits. Would this be the same for an entire house?
Has the final inspection been completed? Of not, the cost of the remaining work has to be factored in.
Is there an underwriters certificate in place?
Are any of these in historic, historic transition, or wetlands, requiring sign offs by the appropriate department within the town?
Is there a final survey indicating structures on the property?
Has a debris affidavit been submitted?
Has a solder certificate been filed?
Don't know. But now I see why no one has bought these properties yet.
