Does that mean a short sale? What does no Represntation mean?

Below was the posting in teh remarks section of MLSLI

This Is A Court Ordered Sale,Sold In As- Is Condition, Absolutely No Representation,All Information Must Be Verified By The Prospective Buyer.

Not sure about all of it...but seems like it's foreclosed, not short-sale...already owned by bank.

"No Representation" means they're not guaranteeing ANYTHING. What you see is what you get--or not

It does not necessarily mean that it is a short sale. In fact, short sales are not normally court ordered. A court can order a sale for any number of reasons: divorce, to settle an estate, bankruptcy, etc.
