I had a new dishwasher installed a month ago and now have a water hammer from heck in the house. The flex line from the dishwasher to the pipe under the sink "hammers" like crazy when the water is being pulled into the washer whil on. The flex line looks to be about 1ft too long and I have tried to put a bend or hook in it to double as a hammer aresstor with not much results

Is there a screw on type water hammer aresstor that I can buy?
What is the best way to bleed my pipes after this is fixed?
I have heard to shut off the water going to my house then open all my faucets ect. ect.

Some proffesional advice would be great.
