Hi again...

I am wondering if anyone knows if there is still an active historical society in Rockville Centre. When I lived there I was active with them, located at the Phillips House Museum on Hempstead Avenue. I've tried looking them up, but I don't find any individuals listed as members of an actual historical group. Have they disbanded??

I am racking my brain to think of individuals who might still be around who were there when I lived there last. My grandfather was one of the founding fathers of the town and I became interested and active in the historical society in that way back then.

Anyway, thank you again for any ideas/comments.

Best,
LillieB.

yes there is. My good friend lives in "the tudor" and she has been participating in events for the society.
