If you predate the franchise, youre not a scab....youre old.
Many Dodger-Giant fant went Met.
Some didnt.
Crooks
I am old, but I don't quite predate any of the NY Franchises, so maybe I'm not that old after all.
There are some old Giant and Dodger fans that have sworn off baseball forever.
Giants/Dodgers were way before my time, but it had to be pretty cool having 2 teams in the same league and same town fighting each other every year. Talk about a rivalry, I get a kick out of talking to folks who were either Giant or Dodger fans and hearing some of the passion that's still there even 50+ years later. Another interesting tidbit is that, without exception, the only thing they seem to agree on is their hatred of the Yankees! No wonder there are those that call NY a "National League Town".
I've actually wonder if those teams had never left, or if I was born 20 years earlier, if my baseball allegiance would be different, particularly since I grew up in Brooklyn.

Although I find it easier to stomach the other NY teams since I moved away. Almost rooting for the Jets, Yanks and uh, not the Isles (ok, maybe just a little. I enjoyed their run in 93).
