I used to go to a place called Tattoo Lou's in Huntington, but I don't really live in that vicinity anymore, so I was hoping anyone could point me to a good place to go in the southeastern nassau area. I am just looking to get my daughter's name on my arm, so this isn't going to be an intricate piece of artwork, but I would still rather use someone that anyone has some experience with, as opposed to just picking a place nearby and going in off the street.
Uh...I would think anyone wanting a tattoo would be willing to travel a bit further to ensure it's done right and you're not stuck looking at someones screwup for the rest of your life or until you pony up the cheddar to have the tattoo removed/covered up. Run-on sentences rule.
EDIT: Cliff's Tattoo, Tattoo Lou's and Lucky Cat Tattoos have all been good to me quality/money wise.
My DH uses a man in Ronkonkoma who is well known & respected in tattoo circles, very talented and has been featured in many national ink magazines. He's expensive, not in eastern Nassau, but well worth the trip if you are serious about your skin.
