Did you go to Greatschools.net? You can compare any schools you want...based on scores, ethnic breakdown, class sizes, etc...sometimes parents even leave comments.
My neighbor sends his two children there (we are not from GC). He also wasnt from GC...and from what I know they like it enough that they keep sending their kids even though its a hike for them to get them there.
Let me know if you have ever been to greatschools.net and what you think of it. I think this should give you a good picture.
Not sure about St. Ann's, but I've heard good things about St. Joe's.
GC public schools have an excellent reputation. The benefits of Catholic school too me are the little things like a higher level of discipline, respect, etc. It's the intangibles, b/c the curriculums, etc. probably go to the more highly funded public schools.
I would bet that they're both very good and it would be more of a function of either personal preference or where your house will be located.
