2109.00 @7.00apr. Started with an FHA, no money down. I was one of the undeserving people who was given free money from the gov't, resulting in the economic woes we face today. All this with an 845 credit score.
I got in as things were gettin crazy. I now have 5.375 locked and pay 1979.85 per mo.

1st $1545, 2nd is a HELOC, paying $300 to have it paid off by it's end. Bought in 1999, refinanced in 2006. Luckily didn't max out, so I am not underwater and actually have equity in the property still.

$2,200/$600 $2,800 mortgage + $700 taxes for a total of $3,500. Bought at the top, unfortunately. Refi will get total mortgage payment down about $400, hopefully.

I think 2K is about average for the area. I guess its easier with two incomes, for us single people it sucks.
