Loitering by a deli for hours on end seems like something illegals would do. They were obviously waiting for work, never got picked up, and just loitered there and got drunk. Ever notice they usually always loiter by delis, which eventually become bodegas.
7-11's have become a part of the problem as most of them have also become loitering locations, such as Southampton, Westhampton, Farmingville,etc. Unfortunately like most places, instead of kicking them off they welcome these invaders with open arms. Only the 7-11 in Hicksville, on W.John street, cracked down on the illegals. And because of that I never see them loitering by that 7-11 anymore.
Obviously if they werent illegal why would they be trying to get picked up for work?
