Also we are not looking for the county to do anything for us then either lease or sell us land they have that is in the optimal areas of no housing issues or traffic concerns...

This would have no effect on the taxpayers other then helping lower them thru a facility that could easily do over 300.000.000.00 a year, that = 18% tax to the county, not to mention all the other little concessions....
So ask them why they continually put children and the public in harms way...

I keep saying that I would like there to be race tracks on Long Island. You keep making it sound like I am saying there should not be one. I am not saying that at all. I would very much like there to be race tracks on Long Island. If there were I would go there. I am simply stating that there is a large population of people whom live on Long Island and it is my belief that the majority of them would not go to a road course to learn to drive. How you are perceiving this as my saying that there should not be race tracks on Long Island is beyond me.

I would love a LI race track. Well... other than Riverhead raceway.

A road course and a drag strip would be awesome but if I could only pick one I would prefer a drag strip.

Road course..... then you can have both.... most roadcourses incorporate a long stretch that can have double use...
