Go Violets!!! That never sounded very intimidating...best thing about NYU is its location.

The only reason I could think of to get an MBA from a lower ranked school would be if it's one like my sister was looking at--if you go into accounting with a non-accounting undergrad, they recommend the MBA (it qualifies you to take the CPA exam). But otherwise, non-top-tier MBAs are not worth it. They're just cash cows for the colleges.

I attended Long island university in Brooklyn (BA) I had a 3.75 gpa for 2 years there before i transfer to NYU. I can tell you for a fact I will choose any school over LIU.

I don't know why you need a MBA for a CPA exam. I am a CPA accountant and I have no such thing.
