Yeah, Charlie Brown's is a pretty bad restaurant. All the "early bird" special crowd has moved down to Florida and North Carolina, and that's who they seem to cater to.
One of the things you've gotta love about Long Island is that bad food doesn't hang around very long. They go the way of the DoDo pretty fast. Either that, or they get put on that Kitchen Nightmares show. In fact, our "bad" food could probably be considered good in most of the country.
I ate there once and that was enough for me. I remember many restaurants being in that building over the years. I used to live in Lynbrook. Nothing ever lasted for a very long time there.
Agreed...they were not needed here. It was actually the very first restaurant we ate at when moving to LI (near the Island 16 movie theater in Holtsville)...and fortunately the restaurants got better from there!!
That one seemed to do well because of the Residence Inn in the same parking lot. Out-of-towners don't know the difference.
lol...am I the only person who actually liked Charlie Browns?
