Come on in, cut down all the trees. Put up fucco. Surround the castle with a plastic fence (moat soon to follow.) Create a runway of concrete for the Escalades and Navigators. Add lots of curlicue corkscrew shrubs and a Mary on the Half Shell. Don't forget a ridiculously ornate concrete fountain. Please remember to behave like a 300 pound petulant child and bully the neighbors -- after all, they are nothing but year-round hicks who are 'benefitting' from the 'upgrades'.
Yup, that's him to a 'T'. Maybe he should sell and buy the place next to fifty cent's place in RP.
Actually, I closed on this house in 1998 without a survey using an online mortgage company. The fence was there before I moved in (and based on it's condition then, quite a while before). I've never added my own fence or had a survey done (though I know I'll need one to sell - and should have one - but they ain't cheap!)
.
Surveys are at the buyers' expense... though if you go to your Town's building department, they may have one on file.

It should be illegal to torture shrubs into curlicues! Ugh!

He wants confrontation I can do that if need be...And my truck takes up alot of room in the driveway too!!!
And I think the guys would nail their hands or something to the fence if you lay out in a bathing suit...But some might say I'm biased a tad...

Are you hotkarl in disguise (Lawn Guyland, New Yawk)?
The fencing will be done on Monday the 20th. I already asked my boss for the day off.
Ah, okay, I had thought from reading one of the other posts that it was today.
Elke's suggestion was good though, if you contact the town they will have at least one survey on file in the Building Department; more than one if anything was done to your house that required a permit, such as adding a room, a deck, or an inground pool. All of those require an updated survey to be submitted, I believe.
