The best Lake fishing on Long Island is Lake Panamoka but its for use by members only.
however there are ponds that are connected to the lake that are full of fish, the only problem is they have alot of lilly pads.
Lake Panamoka is in Ridge, between RT 25 & Rt 25A
Corey Pond is also full of fish, its on Town of Brookhaven property, located slightly southest of Lake Panamoka.

Caleb Smith was cute and unimposing for a 4 year old, but it was too shallow and overgrown to fish. I'd like to find another place.

How about Pine Lake in Middle Island? I was there a couple of Saturdays ago and it was loaded with Rainbow Trout.

Also there's the Peconic Lakes area off Forge Rd and S.River. Also Sears or Bellows Pond in Sears-Bellows County Park.

This is the lake I was talking about at Brookwood Hall I took many pictures when I was there. This is one of them. Not sure if you can fish there but you could call brookwood hall and ask.
