I don't like to discuss exact amounts - but with the extras we wanted we are going to be in the high $120's

I had Shells and DK over for estimates. Shells gave me a ball park price then called a week later to say it was going to run higher ( He tripled the ball park price)
Dormer King's price was twice as high as Shells.
I wouldn't give my business to either one of them. I didn't trust them.
I'm waiting for some more estimates. The pricing is all over the place

nope - We are no longer using them - we have a new contractor.

We looked at a bunch of companies. Four of a Kind and Shells Only were the best that we had as far a professionality vs. price. Jarro was a complete rip, quoting us double the highest quote.

I've been trying him and the couple times I was able to talk to him he was pretty responsive and willing to help, but then nothing. 2 voicemails and all... I've given up. BTW, he mentioned he was working on a website but not yet.
And Shells Only will not do an estimate on a property you don't already own. Unfortunate since we were looking to see if a dormer for a certain price range was feasible with them since they come highly regarded. |

I have a contractor doing my dormer right now as we speak. I am very happy with them. F&S Contracting 516 457-4334.

Move on from RMC restorations - there are plenty of other more reputable contractors in the area.

I have no clue who uses Jarro. They are literally double the price on any project.

I'm looking to extend my kitchen and add a dormer (second floor 3 bed 1 1/2 bath) in Babylon. I want to add about 700 square feet. Any recommendations on who to use? Any ball park on how much this may cost me?
