its Newfield H.S. so I'm not surprised. What does surprise me is that the school doesn't have their own video surveillance.

That is true, we had it in our locker rooms here in West Islip even when I was in middle school from 98-02.

I actually had several robberies of my locker contents (like 3 or 4 times in one year) along with a huge rash of locker thefts in the gym locker rooms in general. It later came out that the football coach (who was also a gym teacher) "accidentally" allowed several members of the football team to gain access to the locker combination book. Of course nothing ever came out of it and the robberies went unpunished despite something like $2,000 in stolen property and damaged locks and lockers.
