There is no "South Amityville".

Are you referring to the southern part of the Village of Amityville or to the southwest part of the Hamlet of Copiague that has an "Amityville, NY 11701" mailing address?

LOL you have to understand the town/hamlet police monitor this board. Yes, South Amityville is quite nice. But as I said it is definetly more expensive (for the most part) than East Mass.

Hey KENNY GUIDO, going back to colonial times, the greater Massapequa area was known as "South Oyster Bay".

I wanted to see what you guys thought of this particular area of e. massapequa....

Its on Carmans BLVD (not rd) south of Merrick Rd. Everyones houses/yards seemed maintained.

Thanks in advance everyone!
Friend of mine lived in that area a bit over 10 years ago. It was a nice area, little if any crime and very friendly.

Lately, there seems to be a bit more crime moseying on down from Amityville.
