A couple of years back someone in East Rockaway was doing the same thing ... although he never let the "tenants" actually move in ... he just collected hefty security deposits several times on a house he didn't own and disappeared.

We have crazy slumlord drama in Brookhaven too.
They have been pretty good in giving them hell but next to Heroin these morons are the single greatest threat to the QOL on LI.
