Can anyone recommend any good carpet cleaners? I am planning to call Sears and Stanley Steemers but i also want to explore the "non big chain" carpet cleaners.

Buy a cleaner and do it yourself , it will pay for itself in one cleaning and it's yours to keep . I have a Hoover (upright) and it works great and very easy to use

We have used Royal Carpet Care in West Babylon for over fifteen years and have only great results with them.Many companies..SEARS!!!...leave carpets saturated and run through rooms as fast as possible.These guys will take their time and are very careful and thorough.They do furniture also.I believe they have a website. Royal Carpet Care
