As per Spooky Misery Hill, Mount Misery is in West Hills ("Melville, NY 11747" mailing address).

According to Urban Legend of Mary's Grave on Long Island, "Mary's Grave is located in the Union Cemetery in Sayville, off Main St. overlooking the swamp."
The article says that Sayville is a village. Sayville is a hamlet in the Town of Islip, Suffolk County.

When people talk about Mary's Grave they are actually talking about the house and the tree where she hung herself. Is that the one by Head of the Harbor? If so,on which street?

I haven't been there in years but I remember the trees from both sides connecting over the road.I think it is close to the (old)stony brook border if I remember correctly.

Most of the streets in the Stony Brook/HOH border area have tree canopies over them. If you can recall something a little more definitive, I can do a little recon on my way to St James tomorrow.

I can't remember the specifics unfortunately.I might have to ask a policeman or someone from the FD in the area.Sometimes they're willing to assist.
