Does anyone have a recommendation for a good clothes dryer repair person in eastern nassa county? The dryer is operational but not heating up, and therefore the clothes aren't getting dry

Any help is appreciated!

The guy from Garden City Appliances can fix just about anything and has fixed our dryer twice. Not sure how far he'll go for a repair job, but you could call him 741-1656. He's VERY reasonable. You'll have to leave a message when you call, he's always come within 24 hours.

I fixed my dryer myself but I know your problem: the coil element is bad.

If you are handy - go onto appliancerepairclinic.com you can replace the element (electric dryer) for about $40.00.

I did it recently, took more time to go to the store to get the part than to make the repair.

You can usually get a parts list from sears. Here is the link: Parts & Accessories | Shop & Find Lawn & Garden, Appliance Parts at Sears PartsDirect | SearsPartsDirect.com

Pretty easy part to replace DIY if its a stand alone dryer.

sears are a bunch of scammers and theives. I remember when my lawnmower wouldnt start so I put in a brand new plug and then I took it to them. they diagnosed the problem but on the top of my bill, they said I need a new spark plug. I flipped out on them and said "I have a brand new one in there and your telling me I have to put a new one on? are you nuts? do you think Im stupid?"

Where in my posting does it say to have it repaired by Sears? It states its a easy repair for Do It Yourselfers (DIY). They have online schematics. Its easier to get the part from Sears then from the manufacturer.

As to Sears, They did repair your mower? right? OMG they suggested a $4 plug. The shame of it all. All repair shops do suggestive up sales. Its your job to say yey or ney.
