I need ideas for places on long island to take kids on Veterans Day-kids are ages 2-6 years old. Can be either nassau or suffolk county. Indoor activities as it is too cold outside now. Thanks in advance.

what about pump it up in plainview or wood kingdom in farmingdale-they each sometimes have open play sessions where you can play for a fee. you could try plastercraft-great for the 6yr old but not as much fun for the 2 yr old. the smithhaven mall used to have a merry go round inside by the disney store-a visit to the store and merry-go round and lunch at the food court could pass a couple of hours.

thanks for the ideas...one of the kids foot is in a cast so jumpy places are out...the mall might work...not tremendously exciting though...

We went to Atlantis Marine World on Halloween and all the outdoor stuff was open, except for the ice cream store and the outdoor gift shop next to the water. It was a great day, cool and breezy and sunny. But there'd be a lot of walking involved...
