LIRR Bar Car

I remember the Bar Car on the way home to Huntington from Manhattan after a long day. Was a delight, especially in the summer. An opportunity to speak to fellow travelers over a beer after a long day and an added bonus, my brother was on the train too. Great memories. I hope they haven't done away with it.

Some trains have bar carts they roll on and off the train, but the old time bar/lounge cars are gone over a decade.

Sadly metro north just last week retired their M2 bar cars.
