I hate noise early in the morning when I sleep in, so I voted leaf blowers. But sometimes it's lawn mowers or such; not necessarily leaf blowers. I don't mind when neighbors park in front of our house, but my next door neighbor parks their huge SUV RIGHT by the edge of the driveway, along with their other cars in front, so it's really hard to see into the street when I'm backing out. At least put the larger cars not right beside the driveway.
I like your poll but none of the choices you provided bother me too much with my specific neighbors. Maybe you could have listed an "other" category. For that I will say that my neighbor has had a broken basketball backboard in his driveway for over a year. It is one of those moveable ones with a plexiglass backboard that is basically borken in half, completely unusable. I dont really say too much to them about anything so instead of saying something to him I will be planting some new shrubs this spring as a buffer between my property and his so I dont have to see it.
I live in Commack. I have notice that during lawn season you can CONSTANTLY here a lawnmower/blower from 8 until about 5. So annoying. I wish they have lawncare free days.
You know ...the reeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaally special ones who drive over the curb in the no parking zone at the Pre School while talking on the phone nearly hitting a toddler in the process because dont you know who the hell they think theyre married to?
You know...fat decked out in designer sweat gear sucking on a Iced Starbucks Mochaccino (either that or completely anorexic).
We have a few here in Rocky Point too, but Shoreham (Like Stony Brook)is swimming with them and they are more than a little annoying. The Nassau version is by far the worst.Theyre a migratory bird mostly found on the North Shore near Syosset and Woodbury.
Miller Place/Mt Sinai Moms are kinda like the Massapequa flavor, they get the Escalade instead.
Equally as annoying but slighghtly less miserable.
