Anyone familiar with the condos at Birchwood court in Mineola? Any information would be helpful.

We looked at one years ago (to buy) - a lot of them are very close to the train tracks. But I had a friend who lived there and didn't have any issues with the train noise.

Yes, they're coops, years ago I knew someone on the board who was very happy there, no issues with train noise.
There have been a couple of accidents outside the complex with cars going too fast on Roslyn rd:
