Anyone know what happened? They were always crowded. Now they're closed.

Default Il Giardino cafe and bakery

Yes can anyone tell me if they moved? I loved this bakery and it always seemed to be crowded then i went there one day for my cappuccino and it was gone. Did they go back to Brooklyn?

I just went by there yesterday for a canoli and was just as shocked. It would be hard to believe that they moved back to Brooklyn since they recently had that beautiful brand new house built next to the apt. complex on Broadway Ave. I hope nothing tragic happened within the family for them to up and suddenly move without any notice. They Definitely had enough business not to go under. Their pastries were so good I would definately go where ever they may have relocated.

I just found out by the salon next door from the bakery that overnight the bakery was gone. Thankfully the bakery owners informed the salon owners that they are looking to reopen at another location in Holbrook, possibly on Grundy Avenue in April or May, but Grundy not a definate.
