I have bought a few pieces from them. I found that the wood pieces are better in quality compared to their fabric or leather. I currently have an entertainment unit, a dresser and a nightstand, and they are all holding up just fine. You will never confuse them with one of the more expensive store's products, but they are a great value for the money.

thanks. the couches were very nice and a few hundred less than other stores i went to. i dont want to cheap out for a few hundred but i dont want to pay extra for the same quality. the couches are very comparable to all the other stores i went to.
I looked there for couches as well, but I decided to go with Raymour (the leather was a little better). But overall I was happy with the items I bought from them. Good Luck!
I just went there actually and I was not that impressed with the sofas. They did not seem comfortable when I sat on them and I didn't like the fabric. It seemed cheap. I ended up getting something from Macys on sale that was almost the same price and much nicer.
My parents have some of their wood stuff in their rental property and it has held up very well though.
There are a lot of places in Farmingdale to try too. Don't know where you were looking.
I bought an inexpensive mission bedroom from Bobs for my vacation home The wood has held up well over time, but I find the back boards are prone to coming a little loose. I saw some decent scratch and dent sofas in their Springfield, MA bargain pit which were decent enough for a finished basement. As for buying a new sofa there...I don't know...perhaps for a first apartment or a second home.
Sorry if I seem like a snob, but I was annoyed to see the new Bob's open up in Nesconset. I wish a more upscale place went in....Pottery Barn, Restoration Hardware, Room & Board, etc. When I bought my first apartment furniture at Seamans, I learned quickly that you always get what you pay for....
My inlaws have some stuff from there and it seems alright. I prefer Raymour and Flanigan, they also have a clearance store on 110 that has excellent prices.

Restoration Hardware would have been nice...I guess Bob's is a $ign of the times.

You must be one of those filthy rich teachers or cops if you can afford to shop at those stores.
