My house is all baseboard heat. I wanted to add a small baseboard section in the bathroom, just 1 feet. This involved making a branch of the pipe from the basement and routing it upstairs to the bathroom. The plumber quoted me $900. I decided not do it, and just use a NuTone heater in the bathroom instead.

Looking to install a new baseboard on the long side of a bedroom. Currently only have 1 baseboard in the bedroom. The bedroom is on the second floor. Anyone have a ballpark cost for a job like this? Thanks.

Is the room too cold? Where is the existing baseboard convector?

yes, the room is too cold. The existing baseboard is installed on the shorter wall in the bedroom. The new baseboard would be installed adjacent to the existing baseboard.

You can look into High Output baseboard. You can replace the existing baseboard with the HO baseboard and get 30% more heat. Works great and easy install. Looks the same but its larger.
