I have a 4 y/o autistic son who is in preschool, we live in Malverne LI but we belong to valley stream 13 SD, we've had a hard time getting services for my son and while malverne is a lovely town, the proximity to valley stream does not help. Not the most desirable town, and we share school districts so it kind of bothers me, I also have a 6 y/o in kindergarten and i've gotten already this year 4 letters about sex offenders moving into our district, so im looking to move to a "better" neighborhood that also has a good SD with a good special ed program a house where we can stay "forever". One of the options we are looking into is rockville centre I love the town and know that the school district is great but do not know anything about the special ed, any body has any input?? as I said before my son is autistic, low functioning so he has a lot of needs to be addressed
