Title says it all...can anyone recommend a good professional driving school around Ronkonkoma/Bohemia/Glen Cove area (or anyone that picks up in Glen Cove)?
And also, a good taxi company around Ronkonkoma and Bohemia since that is where I'm spending the next 8 mondays/wednesdays/fridays working, and I need to take a taxi from my workplace to the Ronkonkoma LIRR station to get home.
I made a post several months ago about failing my road test in Wantagh, and though I was scheduled to retake it, I ended up canceling it because of a school commitment that day. Ever since then I hadn't rescheduled due to getting REALLY busy with school, leaving no time for driving lessons. Oh well. I had some lessons with a guy from Bell Auto School, and although he was a good instructor (and I really like their cars), he creeped me out...he was talking about hacking into people's computers all the time and made a joke once about abducting me. So, yeah. And they're expensive >.> I had one lesson from All Care and they sent me an instructor, who was this old guy and did nothing but yell at me the entire lesson. So I never went back to either of them again. Though I suppose I would contemplate going back to those same schools and requesting a different instructor.
So if anyone could recommend a good driving school and taxi company to me, I'd really appreciate it (as I continue to work toward my driver's license...)
