My daughters are 10 and 13. One is graduating from Middle School and the other from Elementary School. I want to have a graduation party for them and their friends. Not really family just more of their friends maybe some parents. I am trying to think of some fun places I could have it. Although they are both girls I am looking for a place that would be fun for girls and boys since there will be both at the party. Any ideas? I live in Suffolk, but am open to Nassau if I like the place. Thanks!

That's not much of a budget if twenty children (and a few parents) attend.

How do the 10s and 13 year-olds get along? One thought would be to break the party into 2, divide the budget and then focus on age appropriate things.

Another idea would be to take them to a plaster craft store where they can each paint a statue (you give a price range and they give you a selection to choose from within it.) The statues can be personalized with their school name and grad date (assuming that the friends are in the same class.)
This might be a more budget-friendly option.

You might be best off using a firehouse and having your own style of party...might fit better with your budget, etc.

We had our boys b'day party at the firehouse a couple of years ago and it was great.

You could get away with Lazer Kingdom for 20 which includes 2 games and food (with the option of ordering for parents who stay) and tip for the attendant. You have to have an idea as to how many adults in advance, though.

One of my friends took the girls out to Japanese hibachi for her birthday and the kids had a blast. The chefs are so amusing with their antics! Kirin Hibachi in St James charges approx $10 per child 12 and under. You could get away with hibachi, a soda and tip for approx $15 per child. Only thing is it gets pricey if adults stay. Adult hibachi ranges from $13 to $32.
