B Section of Stony Brook is a good area.

Property Taxes are high there, that's the only thing.

Buxmont dead ends between senior condos and the back of a medical office park. My only concern would be kids hanging out in the back of the medical park after hours, parking or whatever.

Blackwell -- you could be backing up to the medical office park or 347. The other side of the street you would be backing other B section houses.

I would opt for Bucknell or Blueberry.

We lived in the S section for many years. The drawback for us was the lack of a basement - not only for storage, but all the houses without basements (roughly 99% don't have them in the Strathmores) have a mold issue. The houses are very musty - particularly in the summer. In the winter the heat burns the dampness off.

We ended up with a lot of white mold on the bottom of furniture, and it doesn't wipe off.

I think the B section is all fine. I would avoid South Setauket - really Centereach - drug problems and a major power line. Cancer cluster area.
