At least your post doesn't have the sexual reference used to disparage tea party members.
Enough red herring. Where's your argument?

Why should we expect inflation to have any bearing on teacher pay?

Are you serious? Make them up? Yeah, I got the data from the union database. It's time to open your eyes man - health insurance for a family costs $18,000 grand a year if you didn't have the state picking up the tab for you. No joke. Social Security and Medicare tax - all public information, www.ssa.gov. State database on your golden Tax Deferred Annuity paying a guaranteed rate of 8% - junk bonds don't even pay 8%!!
Simple 'rthmetic - something they fail to teach today, ask a kid in the street, if you have $3 and you can buy something for $0.79 each, how many cans could you buy - they'd need a caculator because our "fantastic" teachers didn't teach them to think with logic - it's all about formulas and calculators. The only ones who know the math are the teachers at home, counting up their "golden" benefits like Silas Marnas - that you read in advanced high school classes or college.
okay was just wondering.. lots of numbers thrown around. A lot of people around here like to take numbers out of thin air

you needed a calculator to do that math? yet you bash teachers for not requiring kids to do math in their head?

The problem with the "tea baggers" is they did not present the data in a clear, consise and simple manner for people to understand at the public forums including the school board meetings - all they did was scream. Now come on, who wants to listen to a bunch of screaming.

Here's a BIG WIN for the working class! CUT THOSE TAXES!

NYTimes reports that cuts to day-care and early education leaves job-seekers unemployed and on welfare lines as their unemployment runs out!

The New Poor - Lack of Aid for Child Care Pushes Some to Welfare - NYTimes.com

How's the "greatest technology in the world!" helping these families?

I haven't seen anywhere around here people saying cut programs and jobs. What I see is people saying the salaries/benefits need to be reigned in to better reflect the market. Stop deliberately distorting the facts to meet your ideologic agenda, it's sad.

Show me where I distorted one fact. All you can point to is an exchange we had in which you got completely confused and couldn't comprehend the context of the posts.

Yeah, that's all I'm doing. I'm trying to be respectful in this and have a normal discussion but you just constantly try to berate me.
