There's one in NHP by Pathmark (the one that's near that storage place - Westy's is the name of it - I think). I'll look it up later and get the address of it.

If you're thinking of Michael J. Tully Park, it's located at 1801 Evergreen Avenue in North New Hyde Park ("New Hyde Park, NY 11040" mailing address).

No, that's not the one. This is it:

Town of North Hempstead - Clinton G. Martin Park

OK, then, located at 1650 Marcus Avenue, Clinton G. Martin Park is in Manhasset Hills (New Hyde Park, NY 11040" mailing address).

The pool is located in NHP and admission is limited to residents of the NHP District (and their guests) as per the North Hempstead website. If there's any question as to location and/or admission, an e-mail to the webmaster of the site should prove more helpful than discussing it on this board. Also, there's a map on the site so you can see exactly where the pool is located.

It's a nice outdoor pool and one that you'll probably enjoy (if you're a NHP District resident). I joined it for one year but didn't bother after that. My kids just aren't into swimming that much.

Yes, according to the web site, the pool has a "New Hyde Park, NY 11040" mailing address. But, this does not automatically mean that it is in New Hyde Park

Because, you see, just like the majority of places in Nassau County that are not in the community named in their mailing address, the pool is not in the Village of New Hyde Park, even though it has a "New Hyde Park, NY 11040"mailing address.

Actually, the geographic confusion is far more severe in "New Hyde Park" where about 8 out of every 10 places with a "New Hyde Park, NY 11040" mailing address (3,339 acres) are NOT in the Village of New Hyde Park (531 acres).

According to the official maps of Nassau County as produced by the Nassau County Planning Commission, and as used by the Census Bureau, places that have a "New Hyde Park, NY 11040" mailing address that are not in the Village of New Hyde Park are in the Village of Lake Success, the Hamlet of Manhasset, the Village of North Hills, the Hamlet of Manhasset Hills, the Hamlet of North New Hyde Park, the Hamlet of Herricks, the Hamlet of Garden City Park and the Village of Garden City.

The pool is in that part of the "New Hyde Park, NY 11040" ZIP Code postal zone that is in the Hamlet of Manhasset Hills.

In other words, if you want to send a letter to someone at the pool, you would address this letter to "New Hyde Park, NY 11040"; however, if you want to actually go to the pool, you would go to Manhasset Hills.

OP - If you have any other questions regarding this pool (non-geography questions) that aren't answered on the above website, I'd be happy to answer them for you.
