I was wondering if anyone has any recommendations for setting up a romantic day/night on Long Island. Are there any special places around on LI? Is there any restaurants that are specifically romantic? Is there a way to maybe set-up dinner or a walk on the beach?
Or would it be a better idea to go to the city for something like this?
West: Southern State Parkway to exit 33E or Sunrise Highway to Route 109. Stay on Route 109 for 4 1/2 miles till fork in the road. Bear right at fork on to Great East Neck Road. Follow road one mile, cross over 27A ( Montauk Highway ).
East: Northern State parkway, Southern State Parkway or Sunrise Highway to Route 231 South. Take 231 south to 27A West ( Montauk Highway ). Go through Babylon Village and proceed to traffic light at Bergen Avenue ( Burger King on SW corner ). Turn left on to Bergen Avenue.
or northport or any other villiage by the water... dinner, drinks, walk around by the water, look in the shops, buy ice cream, make kissy face...
Yeah, I do like the idea of that. But I was wondering if there was any place where I could arrange dinner on the beach? Or at least incorporate a late night walk on a beach or something, as I know she loves the beach. Any recommendations for something like that?
