Sounds perfect for you. Maybe you could let your pit bull drop a load on the floor there, too.
My dog Fifi is a well behaved Pit Bull...he wouldn't do that. Only problem I'm having with him lately is he has taken to hunting birds in the back yard. I don't know how many Robins he has brought in as trophies. He's like a cat, doesn't really kill them..plays with them like toys. Poor birds, sometimes I have to put them out of their misery.
For those that have commented about Yingling..Yeungling or Oldling...I wasn't commenting about that brew..only saying that asking for that on tap in that dive bar is a bit ridiculous...I expected the guys wife to ask for a Pina Colada.
I like dive bars. They have jukeboxes and pool tables and those "Megatouch" games. Plus, you can actually hear people when they talk to you! I just wish the cover bands and/or people controlling the jukebox would stop with the constant rotation of "Piano Man," Journey, Bon Jovi, and "Sweet Home Alabama." WHY?
I doubt it. Like owner, like dog. But hey, you can make anywhere you go smell just like home!
P.S. Keep paying your taxes. Those whose salaries come from them appreciate it. Muah!
I will...tough being a productive member of society and contributing instead of taking. That's why I have to go to dive bars..cheaper there...I pay too much in taxes.
Checkmate Inn on North Country Rd in Setauket. Dive bar, townie bar, decades old institution in a run down 100 year old plus house.
