Come with at least 4-5K to help get you settled and carry you for a bit while you look for work. Rent a room to save money. There are no guarentees but that's a start and will let you buy a plane ticket back to the UK if need be.

First and foremost you are going to need a work visa so you better start checking on that. If you can arrange to re-locate and have enough money to carry you for about 6 months good luck.
