Totally! It is so insanely hot right now, and fans don't seem equipped to handle this.

I kind of do miss June Gloom because I like the cloudy days. But the cloudy days will be back in December which is now less than 5 months away

Yes, I miss June gloom. I'm grateful that my apartment has central air! Or I will be until I get my next power bill...

I don't complain about "June Gloom" especially since today was extremely uncomfortable with the humidity so high and temps above 100F

I'd never complain about nature's air conditioner! Seriously, I don't care if the burn-off doesn't take place until 3:00 p.m.; the cloudier the better at this time of year. Of course, if the clouds merely increase the humidity then I don't care for them. Monsoonal moisture from Arizona and New Mexico is different from the usual marine layer.

Ya but....

June gloom lasts for weeks (months?) at a time. These monsoonal events are maybe four or five days a couple times a year.

It's almost as if July was skipped. June weather extended to mid July and August weather started in mid July.
