We're converting our family room into our 15 year-old son's bedroom. He would like me to shoot a nighttime cityscape of either Dodger Stadium or the Rose Bowl. Can anyone recommend a good street where I could shoot it?

Try the police academy which is adjacent to Dodger Stadium. I think you have to get up on a hill if you want the view you showed in the photo. I've seen people in those hills far behind the outfield bleachers. That's a good angle IMO as you get the shot of the stadium with downtown behind it. Post your pic when you get.

What a great idea! I have a friend who works in the vicinity with LAPD, I'll ask her which street to take. It'll probably take me a little while to finish the photo. I'm planning to do it in black and white on canvas, but once I get a proof, I'll PM you.

My son is kinda picky. He vetoed nature photos, landscapes, travel scenes...He likes cityscapes, but wanted something sports-related to "represent him." LOL! The one concession he made, was having me print it in black and white, 'cause, well...it is my house after all--compromise! Im really excited about this. Thank you!

Dodger Stadium - Los Angeles Dodgers

You want to get to the Think Blue sign or higher in the hills behind the left field scoreboard.

Look at Academy Road and the others.

BTW I would do this during the day with someone to help you. Elysian Park is not the safest place maybe.
