Here is the scoop:
I am 35 year old with a family: wife/stay at home Mom and 2 kids: 3 year old and 6 year old.
Got a job offer there for $120K/ still under negotiation.

Where should I live keeping in mind my family.../good school for my first grader...

My needs are very simple/ live within means and would love to commute as short as possible..

PS: I am east Indian and would love to be closer to community with lots of Indians for my family.../No offence :-)

Thanks

DD

Anywhere in the Via Verde community should be nice along with the area near and above San Dimas Canyon park. There are also some nice homes and condos south of Arrow Hwy not far from Puddingstone and Raging Waters.

Some parts of Old Town San Dimas have gotten a bit sketchy, esp the area hemmed in by Cataract, Bonita, San Dimas, and Arrow Hwy. The area above that-Eucla to 5th st, to Walnut to Bonita has to be taken on a block-by-block basis. Some of it is really charming Old School and others are really shady.

The pediatrician our kids had for 20 years is Indian. He and his family live in Diamond Bar; he shares a practice in San Dimas and Diamond Bar.
