I am looking to rent a vehicle (economy, nothing special) to get around in LA for 3 months during my stay from Sep-Dec.
Having looked online, the best price I have found so far is between $650-$700 per month! I really thought it would be cheaper than that. I'm fairly internet savvy so have used search engines etc to try and find a range of companies.
Is there somewhere any locals could point me in the direction of? I'm not expecting to get a car for a few dollars, but I was hoping for around $500 a month, is that a bit unrealistic? I'm 30 years old and
won't require any 'extras' in terms of sat nav or extra insurance etc.
Any ideas on local rental companies who might be able to help would be welcome
